Lecturer guide

You have oversight of the whole cohort: who is progressing, who is behind, and what has been assessed. Your view of student logbooks is read-only — scores are recorded by clinical instructors — but you can write and edit Clinical Performance Reports.

1. Your dashboard
Students with no current semester are excluded from every figure above, and the dashboard warns you when any exist. Ask the administrator to place them.
2. Finding students

Students lists everyone with their current semester, intake, progress and status. Filter by semester, intake or active/inactive, or search by name, student ID or email.

3. A student's record
4. Clinical Performance Reports

You can view and edit the report for any student, not only those assigned to a particular instructor. Competency figures come from the logbook automatically; you supply placement, attendance and remarks. Download the PDF for signature and filing.

Reading the numbers

A procedure is passed at {{ config('assessment.pass_score') }} or above, and only a student's most recent attempt counts. So a student who failed a procedure and later passed it shows as passed, with the earlier attempt still visible in the history. “Needs retry” means the latest attempt did not reach the pass mark.
